Josh grew up in Columbia, Missouri and moved to Denver with his wife, Elizabeth, in the summer of 2013. They started attending Denver Pres in the fall of 2015. Denver Pres quickly became a church home for Josh and Elizabeth. They have met many amazing people, and created lasting friendships. They love being a part of the thriving community at Denver Pres. Josh joyfully joined the staff at Denver Pres in August of 2017 as the Sunday Operations Coordinator. In this position, he oversees the set-up and tear-down of the church’s worship and education equipment each Sunday morning.

Since moving to Denver, Josh has worked seven years for Vail Resorts both at Bicycle Village in Westminster and the corporate office in Broomfield. However, in the fall of 2019 he made a major career change to become a carpenter and now works for Redeeming Remodels. He enjoys the work of creating inviting and comfortable spaces for his clients. This devotion ties right into his position at the church. Josh is passionate about the details that go into creating a worshipful space for the people of Denver Pres that fosters learning, engaging, and growing.

Outside of life at Denver Pres, Josh enjoys spending time with Elizabeth, their son Josiah, and riding bikes, hiking, camping, golfing, playing music, walking their dog, and pheasant hunting each fall in Iowa.
