Churchwide Enrichment
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” Romans 12:2
CWE Vision:
These monthly seminars are given with the hope of equipping the saints with a biblical worldview. We engage the topics of Scripture, theology, history, and culture. Churchwide Enrichment classes are offered 8 times a year September - May. Each class is offered twice during the month.
This year, we will go through TGC's curriculum called, "Making Sense of Us." We will cover various themes and stories in our culture that shape how we live. Please join us as we reflect deeply and engage thoughtfully with our culture!
October Topic: Self
Who am I? What is my identity? For most of human history, identities have been determined by the people around us, but in our modern world, we are taught to look inside ourselves to find out who we are. But that leaves us at the mercy of the tumultuous seas of emotion and sin. In the gospel, we find a better and more sure anchor for our identity. Come join us for our discussion of the cultural narrative of the self!
