Churchwide Enrichment
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” Romans 12:2
CWE Vision:
These monthly seminars are given with the hope of equipping the saints with a biblical worldview. We engage the topics of Scripture, theology, history, and culture. Churchwide Enrichment classes are offered 8 times a year September - May. Each class is offered twice during the month. This year, we will go through a biblical view on various aspects of mental health.
Fall 2025:
September - Shame
October - Depression & Anxiety
November - Grief
December - Loneliness
Spring 2026:
February - Anger
March - Trauma & Story
April - Addiction
May - Fear
March Topic: Trauma and Story
All mental health should be seen within the context of our own stories. Our experiences, relationships, wounds, and hopes all shape the way we understand ourselves and God. For this month’s CWE, licensed counselor Anna Kynast will explore the importance of story and how processing trauma through this lens can bring clarity and healing.
She will also offer a simple, practical definition of trauma, helping make this often misunderstood topic more approachable and easier to recognize in our own lives.
