Jenn Peppers

Director of Community Groups

Jenn grew up on the outskirts of Buffalo, NY. Although she was exposed to church by her parents and grandmother, she entered adult life without a meaningful experience with God. After a trip to Israel in her mid-twenties, Jenn developed faith in the triune God and began to be transformed by His love and grace.

Jenn graduated in 1996 with an MBA and worked for several years in HR management. She loved her role in a start-up environment where she could create new systems and support leaders. She pursued a certificate in life coaching to further enhance her leadership skills. In 2003, she started a coaching practice focused on guiding and supporting people through career transitions.

Jenn has been involved in volunteer church leadership roles since moving to Denver in 2001. She co-authored Finding the Flow: A Guide for Leading Small Groups and Gatherings published by Intervarsity Press in 2009.

Jenn and her husband Sammy fell in love and married when they were both in their late thirties. A few years later they adopted their son Taye from Ethiopia. After reluctantly moving from an urban neighborhood to Stapleton in 2012, they started attending Denver Presbyterian Church. Shortly thereafter, Jenn was diagnosed with cancer and has been in remission since 2016. This experience brought new meaning and joy to the things she loves, including her faith and work.

Today Jenn is very grateful for the opportunity to be involved in a variety of things including supporting DPC’s community group leaders, career coaching and leading workshops. These endeavors are synergistic and all involve encouraging others to engage in authentic and transformational careers, community, relationships, and conversations.
