As a church we have focused our local mission efforts for the past 5 years serving the refugee community in Aurora, CO

We partner in strategic, high-impact ways with PROJECT WORTHMORE, a nonprofit providing programs that foster community, self-sufficiency and increase quality of life among Denver-area refugees.

CARE PACKAGES

Each month, our local missions partner, Project Worthmore, distributes care packages filled with household and hygiene necessities to local refugee families. These items can be costly and hard for families to afford.

You can donate individual items from the below list or purchase all of the items below to make a complete package. If you make a complete package, please assemble it in a 12x12 box (you can order off of Amazon) and tape it shut with all of the items included. Please purchase items in the sizes listed below. Refugees will have to carry these boxes home and this ensures that the boxes don’t get too heavy to carry.

  • Liquid laundry detergent:  50 - 100 oz bottle

  • Dish soap:  18-32 oz

  • Shampoo and conditioner:  13.5 oz bottle

  • Jasmine rice: 2-5 lb bag

  • Cooking oil:  24 -48 oz

  • All-purpose cleaner: 32 oz

  • Bar soap

  • Soft soap

  • Deodorant
